KOMITMEN ORGANISASI TENAGA PENGAJAR WANITA DITINJAU DARI KEPASAN KERJA ( Studi Kasus pada Perguruan Tinggi Swasta di Malang )

The purpose of this study was to describe the factors of job satisfitacation and to analyze the infuence factor of job satisfication on onrganizational commitment. This rearch is expected to be a cornerstone policy of private universities in addressing the problem of teachers. The research merhod used is exploratory research, using quantitative and qualitative descriptive approach to identify the factor of job satisfaction, its reltionship with organizational commitment. Number of samplesused by 60 respondents with randm ssampling techniques and data collected were analyzed using descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The result of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the variable salary, working conditions and promotions simultaneously has the effect of work and promotion, working conditions are so variable that the variable has the strongst influence. The result illustrate that the main factor of job satisfaction for women working is not a salary or income but working conditions in which the convenience in working, preferred work environment situation.
