Research is conducted to know model and trip Generation characteristic of area Housing Of Asparaga Tomulabutao Towns of Gorontalo. Through pilot of survey at 35 family, determined by the amount of minimums sample able to represent real situation. Of calculation result got the amount of minimums sample that is 80 family. Research, hereinafter, conducted by allotting kuisioner to 80 family 150 citizen family housing of Asparaga Tomulabutao. Obtained data cover totalizing of trips as variable tied, while amount of person, amount of workers, amount earnings, ownership of vehicle are as free variable [of] him. Characteristic awaken evaluated journey that is, (1) household characteristic and (2) journey characteristic. Household characteristic in the form of age, mount the ownership of vehicle, education storey; level, familiarity status, mount work type and earnings. Journey characteristic in form of journey moda used to start the journey of and journey frequency (total of trips/ family/ day). Fist phase in this analysis to test correlation among variable tied with variable-free variable, hereinafter to select variable which is competent to be used for pemodelan. Result of from this research is obtained by two best free variable that is family members amount (X1) and workers amount (X2) with equation: Y = 1,3409X1 + 0,0744 with Y is totalizing family trips in one day.
