This paper studied the numerical simulation of a fluid that flows through a curved channel with aspect ratio 9, curvature ratio 2, 5, and 10 and Dean number is varied from 100 to 1000. Navier-Stokes equation of motion written in toroidal coordinates is applied in this simulation. The results showed that curvature ratio affects the secondary flow profile and friction factor. In addition to the main secondary flow, an additional secondary flow appears and increases the value of the friction factor.
