The management information system project stars prio to technical activities are indicated and continued to the entire limitation, development, and preservation of the information system. The technique of project management like Gantt chart and PERT/CPM has limitation in estimating the performance of an information system. So far, estimating the time and resources placement for information system was difficult to calculate. Therefore, a solution was sought by COCOMO method. COCOMO II model can be used for any purposes, such as the process of contract negotiation, analysis of process reparation, the purchase of any tools, architecture change, decision of self-developing or purchasing software, and any decisions concerning with other return on investment in the project in relevant to the application of software, using reliable estimated calculation.
