Analisis hubungan struktur corporate governance dan kompensasi eksekutif
Abstract: This research was conducted to know the relation between corporate governance structure and executive compensation. The corporate governance structures axamined in this study were managerial, institutional ownership and corporation of independent commissioners. It was analyzed that the corporate governance structures were negatively related to executive compensation. The sample of this study was companies listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange. By using 106 observations from 1999 to 2003. It was found that there was negative relationship between managerial, institutional ownership and executive compensatiton. However, this study failed to support previous study that the relationship between proportion. However, thia study failed to support previous study that the retionship between proportion of independent commissioners and compensation was negative.
