Konsep kinerja cell breathing dalam menunjang komunikasi yang handal pada sistem komunikasi seluler berbasis teknologi CDMA

Cell Breathing is a condition where CDMA cell scoope being increase and decrease based on it’s transmit power from base station to mobile station in cell coverage area. If the traffic get over than it’s offered capacity, so base station transmit power will be decrease until cell size getting smaller. If the traffic available in normal condition so transmit power will be increased on normal level until cell size back to it’s size before. If the demand of channel more that maximum capacity of cell, traffic scoope of cell will decrease to make traffic which is controlled will not be over maximum capacity. When the demand of channel of channel amount being normal like previous condition so the cell capacity will develop again and the customers who stay until the cell maximum radius can be served. The power which is accepted by mobile station is Prx where is CDMA mobile station to get communication service from base station is about – 110 dB. If the score of Prx less than – 110 dB, the communication will be off line and cell will decrease it’s capacity area and cell breathing appears to overcome this, there will apply power control effect where the power control will command the base station to increase the lighting power based on the increasing of power allowed 3 dB up.
