The public offering makes a company become go public, but the company must go-through pre-determined procedures and requirements. The purpose is that only credible compamies can enter capital market. To support the establishment of well regulated capital market, intitutions and professions who have important role in capital market must support the effort. Among the supportive professions for capital market, notary plays significant role. In this journal, the author discusses the role of notary in relation to public offering of limited company stocks from the go public companies in Indonesia capital market.
