The implementation of computer based information system could be succesful if only it is supported by all its users. To explain, predict and improve the involvement of information system users, a good understanding is requirred about any factors contributing why an individual feels get involved and possess the information system. This study was aimed at explaining any factor affecting the user involvement and the effect of such involvement on the implementation of information system. A number of 30 personals workstation PT Malindo raya industrial (MRI) Lawang. Malang were investigated using explanatory approach. Users attitudes, system effect, system complexity, and managerial support were found giving significant effect on users involvement (B=18.5633: p=0,0000) with contribution of 75% (R2 = 0,7481 : p = 0,0000). It was found also the significant effect of users involvement on the implementation of information system (b=26,5147: p=0,0000) with contribution value of 49% (R2 =0,4864: p=0,0000).
