Dispossition effect of individual investor in the form of seeking pride or avoiding regret is an unique fenomena in the stok market. Using paired samples t test of data collected by questionaires mailed to stockbrokers, the investigation of this fenomena found that disposition effect of individual investor is also proved at the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX). There are many individual investor eager to sell soon the winner stock and a few individual investor willing to sell the losser stocks. Seeking pride could be one of important motivation of individual investor to invest their money at JSX.

Dispossition effect of individual investor in the form of seeking pride or avoiding regret is an unique fenomena in the stok market.
