Upaya Pelestarian Hutan di Kabupaten pasuruan

One of prominent local problems is forestry problem. Recently many flood and other natural disasters are caused by bad forest management. The question raised is how to manage the forest wisely. Or is it exploited only ? the research aimed at (1) understanding the ways to manage forest conservation (2) analyzing the obstacles in managing forest conservation in Pasuruan Regency. By using qualitative approach, this research proves that the efforts to conserve the forest are not effective yet. Finaly, this research recommends complete model for forest conservation in Pasuruan Regency. The results also prove the initial assumption that forest conservation is not an easy task. Because in needs enormous effort to maintain it. It can be concluded that in managing forest conservation, togetherness from all actors (government, society and private) is needed.
