This research was performed at the Economic College (STIE) Trinitas Ambon in order ti find out the influence of the leadership behavior toward the work satisfaction of employee. The analysis techniques of this research uses multi linear regression in which the satisfaction of the employee/lecture (Y) as dependent variable and the leadership behavior that including instructive behavior (X1), consultative (X2) participative (X3), delegative (X4) as independent variable. Sample of this research is the whole intructor as well as the employee of STIE Trinitas Ambon. Result of the research show that partialy, the participative behavior variable has dominant influence toward the work satisfaction of the employee in comparison with three other variable, and the variable that having insignificant influence or negative influence is the instructive variable (X1). It is shows that at the University environment in wich most of the employee/instructor have high educated, ingeneral they do not like to be ordered, and it is one of the instructive behavior features.
